What color shield for my Bell sport helmet?

No, it's perfectly fine. The color from inside is not blue, it's dark/brown like the smoked shields.

And based on what F1 guys do, they like it also as almost all of them have the chrome shield in various colors.
I mean they have it because it looks cool but it must also work, at 300 km/h, you need good vision.

I had dark smoke on my old helmet and got the light ones for my current helmet. I prefer darker as in bright days, the light does not filter enough. My dark smoke was fine even in the rain. JMHO.

Thanks for the info Finn and Nader. I think i'll go with the dark smoke and then get the blue chrome if it seems too dark.
