Default Achilles Radial Tires?

Anyone heard of these? I just saw an ad for them in Sportscar. Not much info on their website yet. http://www.achillesmotorsportsllc.com/Default.asp

Who is the marketing genius who named a company after someone from Greek mythology who died as a result of a small wound to his heel?

All of their "news" stuff is about drifting. Maybe this is their focus?

He was actually a very feared and heroic warrior in Greek mythology and the only way to defeat him was to attach the only weak spot in his body. Hence the term " Achilles" heal...

There is only one track review on their website, it looks like they could be a durable slick. If its cheap enough and durable enough maybe an interesting option. Maybe some Chinese version of a slick?

EDIT: it looks like an Indonesian manufacturer who got their know how from Pirelli and Continental. Interesting indeed:
