Default PBOC at NOLA, Oct 4-6

Anyone going? This will be my first trip to NOLA motorsports, I hear the track is hard on tires, any truth to that?

There is about 13 of us Texas PCA guys that will all be there! Plus I hear stories of 20 or so PBOC guys coming.

FYI the track is great and the whole place is nothing but FIRST CLASS! Big money spent down there.
Here is one of my hot laps from the PCA Race there back in April this year.

Great track. I wish it wasn't the same weekend as the Houston Grand Prix.

I did visit NOLA for the carts last December, but did not get a chance to drive the track. Thanks for the vid, I've been surfing and watching what's out there, looks like fun with some long sweeping turns and the esses.

I do see quite a few non-PBOC racers listed as RX, I'm hoping that a few of them slot into R3 and R4, so there's someone to race with.

We should organize some after-hours karting while we are there!

The group of us from Texas are not even listed on the PBOC reg. list. We signed up on clubregistration.net. Non of us have picked a class yet. I looked at the rules and got glassy eyed.....
How about this: tell me some of your best times at the tracks you have raced at and if they are real close to ours we will all jump into your class and have some fun.
Here is some of my SP996 times from the last year or so:
Hallett BRYAN BELL SP996 1:22.992
COTA BRYAN BELL SP996 2:30.109
MotorSport Ranch SP996 1:19.490
Road Atlanta SP996 1:37.730
Sebring BRYAN BELL SP996 2:23.928
High Plains BRYAN BELL SP996 2:03.332
VIR BRYAN BELL SP996 2:09.452
TWS BRYAN BELL SP996 1:53.052
Eagles Canyon SP996 1:58.376
Road America SP996 2:31.742

In R4 trim:

Road Atlanta 1:37.2
Sebring 2:24.2
Barber 1:39.9

In R3 trim (which is where the car is now and should be classified)

Barber 1:36.7

That sounds about right for us: Well I will have all 5 of the SP996 sign in as R3 then. We will have some fun I bet. See you there.

Sounds like fun, but be aware that Bob V. will likely assign you to whatever class is the flavor of the day.

I'm here, saw VR at the track earlier. Where's the Hurricane Party on Saturday
