Default Hawk Carolinas Challenge PCA Race - Registration is OPEN

Registration is open for the 2013 edition of the Hawk Carolinas Challenge PCA Club Race held each year at Carolina Motorsports Park, October 25-27.
This year, we are a bit further away from Halloween, so maybe all of you that haven't been able to make it due to family Halloween commitments can enjoy our Southern Hospitality and very fun weekend. Those that come every year will tell you, we run a low key, fun, well run race weekend consisting of 2 Saturday Sprints and a Sunday 90 minute Enduro.

Typical Schedule:
Friday: Practices and Practice Starts/Fun Race
Saturday: 2 Sprint Races
Saturday Night: Awards dinner/social open to EVERYONE - Crew, family, friends...all at NO ADDITIONAL COST
Sunday: 90 minute enduros

We are usually done with racing around noon or shortly thereafter on Sundays, so everyone can usually make it home by Sunday night.

Hawk Performance is proudly returning as the title sponsor of the race. Hawk has more than a dozen motorsport brake pad compounds and fitments for most Porsches. The Carolinas Challenge offers Hawk Performance a chance to work one-on-one with the drivers and explain to them how the different compounds can allow for more car control, creating a faster yet safer racecar. Hawk Performance personnel will be there the entire weekend to offer technical support.

NEW THIS YEAR!!
There will be a designated spot on pit lane during the practice sessions on Friday for any team or individual to stop by and learn more about their brakes; just look for the Hawk Performance tent. They will be taking brake temperatures and logging information to discuss with the divers/crews at their convenience. The Carolinas Region will also host a ‘tech session’ Friday night where the attendees will be able to listen to a quick presentation and will have a chance for a question and answer session.

Oh...and this is THE LAST opportunity of the season to rack up some National Championship Points for Eastern drivers...

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the track!

Default fun end of season event

This will be my third trip to CMP. It's a fun track and I can't say enough about how terrific Carolinas PCA is as the organizer / hosts.

And this year a 90 minute enduro!

It's one of our favorite events. Highly recommended!

Carolina PCA puts on a fun event. The track is fun, the racing is great, and they know how to party when the day is done. Did it last year, can't make it this year, wish I could, but if you are on the fence, this is one event you don't want to miss!

Yikes Bob... Is this the engine we spoke about when we last were at a track together. ??

Anyway.. Hope it all comes together for you. CMP is the best event. I've been traveling to this event for years. Great region, Fun track. Every racer I bring to CMP can't wait to get back.

Yep, the same...broke another rod at Mid Ohio and did lots of damage this time.... We're pretty sure we now know what's going on. But of course, the "well, while we're replacing things lets do this or that" bug has hit us so it's taking a bit longer to source the parts needed...plus trying to figure out how to pay for all this has been delaying things too....and we're redoing the entire oil system in the car...and.....

Great to see you'll be there. Did I see GTA??

I always love this race! Good food, great people, quiet town and fun track. How is the surface these days Bob? Tires didn't last long last year.

I'll be headed down for the first time. Where's the best place to stay? Lancaster, Camden?
