Very cool project.

You won't be able to run in F class. The fiberglass top and the 996 fenders are both not legal for that class. At this point you'll be in GT3 at a min weight of 2900lbs or in GT4 at a min weight of 2365lbs.

He needs a dashboard too, no? You have to have a stock hardtop to run in stock class, next thing you know you will need a passenger seat!

Why is the top not legal?
He'd have to run with arm restraints but he can run a fiberglass top.

O. Boxsters may run with no top, with the factory hard top, or with an aftermarket fiberglass hardtop replica
secured to the roll cage. If the replica top is used, the rear window may be lexan of stock configuration with 2013 PCA Club Racing Rules page 12
no venting.

Seb,

Why don't you just prepare it for SPBOX? If you ever start racing, you'll have a field of cars in the same class as you, just like us here in Quebec with our 24 racers in 944 Challenge Canada...

Just sayin'... because the more competition you have, the better you become...

I assume that the fuse and relay panel located on the bottom of the driver's side rocker is temporary, right?

Otherwise I strongly advise you to move somewhere else where it will be protected from the elements.

Dashboard was removed to help the wiring harness removal, since i can't be in F class, i will see if i can run without it forever...

no wing because I am learning that on our relatively low powered cars they can't handle the drag, you get killed down the straights. Only works on high downforce circuits like LRP, Lightning...

I don't think it could be competitive in GT3. You could never get down to the minimum weight. In GT4 you'd still need an upgraded engine with something north of 300hp, but it could be competitive IMO.

Ah you are correct, the top is fine. But the fenders will still put the car in GT.

This is a casebook instance of someone building a car for racing before looking at the rules of whatever sanctioning bodies of the local groups are in force. Learn by it, it is the WRONG way to build a car for racing. Paseb, I wish you luck but you are wasting a lot of Canadian $ building a car that won't be comprtitive.. unless of course you are the new Schumacher? Too late to ask HOW to build the car, I wish you luck with your project!

+ 75 000 $CAN...

Seb, come on, you have to plan things ahead... And for god sake, make a bracket and relocate the fuse panel.

Put the original front end back on the car put a dash in (doesn't have to be functional) use a data acquisition dash and get it back into a stock class.

If there weren't significant mods to get the new fenders on it would be a lot more fun than running in an uncompetitive class.
