Isn't Tony Stewart "Big Stig" on Top Gear?

Some guys hit the gym every day.

Some guys have a kolache and a Whopper every now and then and actually race 3 or 4 times a week after they pass through the drive in window. The drive in bank deposit window !

His sponsors could get miffed some, but he hasnt been down too much. On the other hand, he might get in more sponsor and face time.

Tony is doing good and doing it his way.

i bet he would try and sneak in the car with a broken leg, tell the dr to sign him off. I doubt he is done because of the leg. I do think being the owner of a bunch of other entities may be taking a toll on his driving. But that is just my .02.

You are probably right about the driving too. But it was hard to say after he just won the championship.

But in some ways I think those sponsors may like it that he is out there. Until something like this happens anyway .

Odds are he gets into a NASCAR sprint cup car with his leg not fully healed.

These guys are wired differently than us. Robert Kubica had a horrible rally accident in the off season from F1 where they said he might lose an arm, let along drive again in F1. Although he is still not back in F1, he has tested an F1 car and is still doing pro rally races.

Look at one of the greatest inspirational drivers of all time, Alex Zanardi... No legs couldn't keep him from racing again!! These guys are different from the rest of us.

Yeah - Earnhardts, Pettys, they had to race every week to get checks . Or there was none .

There was at least one full season where Dale Sr wasnt on physically but he was there every week - and that was after he had become a star and The Intimidator and all of that with money in his account. He finally came back and won some races because he was feeling good again.

Back in the day, all Indy drivers had a pronounced limp to their gate.
Smashed feet was part of the deal.
