Nah, I wouldn't have called what he did before the crash showboating. If the front wheel pitches up on certain jumps, you add some body english to see where you are landing. Other jumps you can just keep it straight to see what is going on below. There are other variables as well that may require some mid-air body adjustments. The lip of the jump, lean angle, speed, wind, and if the preferred line is along a curve.
Looks like he slipped a pedal when he hit the ground, or it popped out of his clip-in.
