Manthey GT3 R tops in Pro so far in qualifying but actually bested by a Pro AM Ferrari in dubious conditions. "Superpole" is tomorrow which will determine the top 20 starting positions.

 

Its a long race but the top Porsche (Manthey/Lieb) is in 5th place. Prospeed is 11th : /

Whats the main difference between the 991 GT3 R and the RSR. The front end is apparently quite different but what else?

 

i dont think there is a 991 gt3 r in the spa 24 h

The front end definitely looks different- I just wondered what the other differences are;

[Edit] Both cars pictured are RSRs. The top one being a 997.

 

those Mercedes are tanks. I hope we see a few somewhere in USCR GT/GTD next year.

 

and there is a ridiculous amount of clag and debris on the track. I realize it's a 24 hour GT race but still...

No rain remarkably, but the Manthey/Porsche had engine troubles and took a drive through late which relegated the car to second place.
