Default PCA enduro pit stop, fuel jug recommendations

So I looked around on the forum and could not find any info, but I am looking for recommendations on the type of fuel jug to use during a pit stop.

We have 5 minutes on our pit stops. I want to keep it simple, and I do not plan on removing the stop or stock reducer that limits the size of nozzle, unless there are some go recommendations out there too.

Thank you

I'm a fan of the Red head dry break systems... You can dump 5-6 gallons into the car in just seconds..

I was under the impression that in a typical 60 minute PCA enduro with a mandatory 5 minute pit stop, no refueling was allowed.

Typical PCA enduros are 90 minutes long.

The scruit Chester suggested this weekend that two 2.5 gal jugs empty way faster than one 5 gallon one does.

Is there more than one kind? I'm using Scribner 5 gal jugs and they work well.... I kind of assumed they are all basically the same..

For the restrictor problem I've seen some complicated solutions (funnels etc) but I just clamped a 4" piece of 1/2" copper pipe in the end of the "hose". 5/8" (the OD of 1/2" pipe) is the same ID as the hose and as a bonus fits nicely in the restrictor orifice.

I prefer the VP fuels over the Scribner. Better vent IMO.

Red head is the best hands down. From a safety and speed standpoint
There's a reason all pro racing organizations require them

I have both Hunsaker and Scribner. Are Hunsaker making the Jugs again? I bought mine 3-4 years ago from a 4x4 supplier and should look again. They were about $70 each. To make the flow faster, I removed the restrictor on the filler neck of the stuck filler. I also bought some 3/4" inch threaded plumbing reducers to use with tubing. I can dump 6 galon in a 1-2 minutes and have never had any fuel leaking from Hunsaker. Not the case with Scribner. If the goal is to use with stock fuel filler, then Hunsaker is the way to go.

Dry brake is very nice, but requires modifying the filler neck with the dry brake receiver.

Yeah, hunsaker is a great option but I too thought they weren't making them anymore.
