Default FS: '92 RS America PCA GT4S class race car

I'm listing this for a fellow Rennlister. Many of you have seen this car before - the yellow #66 "Virginia is for Lovers" car. 1992 RS America full race spec'd car.

Own a piece of racing history. This car was originally campaigned by G&W Motorsports in the mid 90's and was entered in the 1994 Rolex a 24 hour at Daytona (did not qualify). Originally campaigned by Weldon Scrogham, this car is ready to go. Still has the same livery as when it was originally raced.

- Recent full 3.8 liter engine rebuild (only used 1 weekend).
- cool suit and cool air system installed
- fuel cell
- fire suppression system
- comes with two additional sets of wheels, one has a set of never used rains
- lots of spares including extra seat, multiple sets of brake pads, spare ECU, full radio system, AIM data acquisition, etc.
- runs in PCA GT4S class

I don't know everything about the car - I know it's fast and competitive. It's currently sitting at Exclusive Motorwerks in Denver, NC so whatever questions you have, I can check it out in person and take whatever pictures you want. What it needs is a little cosmetic TLC - front hood, bumper and splitter could use some 'freshening up', but for the price you get a lot of car.

Price: $33,950

I wondered why I had not seen Pat around for a while. Suppose he is getting out, right?

Yeah, same old story most of us deal with....money, time, etc. After the rebuild, he realized he's not going to be able to do the car justice, so better to get it a new home where it can be used...

Let me check through the binder he has.
I can probably also have you talk to the engine builder...

BTW, nice GT3. I have a 04 Yellow GT3...love it!

Update
I have records back to 2004 including things ranging from simple oil/brake pad changes to clutch, headers, windshieds, valve adjustments, CV joint boots, new axles, plugs/caps/rotors, fuel cell install, wheel bearings, suspension, alignments, multiple trans fluid changes, and the full engine build sheet.

Racing history in PCA, NASA and HSR log books back to 1998.

I was wrong, it was raced in 2010 and twice in 2011 with the new engine.

Consistent race winner, very fast, very easy to race.

Make a reasonable offer...owner may just take it!

Car is still available.
I realized I posted that it's just a 964, but it's actually a RS America and I can't change it in the title.

I am the new caretaker of Pat's car. I am doing a bit of restoration before I race it. I bought it to replace my stolen race car. For those of you who remember, my trailer and 1974 IMSA-spec RSR were stolen last March. The theives have been caught, but they had burned the car to the ground. I promise that the car will have a good home.

Not to pirate this thread, but it appears there is a happy new buyer, so no harm done.

My GT4 race car is for sale. This car is the real deal and well known amongst serious PCA racers. It hold many lap records and the 2013 national championship. Make me an offer - I now have two race cars, which is one to many. Reduced asking price is $71K, including spares. Check out this link for details:
