I'm available Saturday and Sunday, if folks are interested. I have a 1200 sq ft study center on-site with simulators and plasmas on the wall to review data/video. I also have Video VBOX Lites, AiM Solo DL's, and TraqDash as well as Replay XD 1080 video upgrades for sale.

I may have HD SmartyCams by then, too.

Couple of us are on the fence this year... thinking about trying Mosport for a change (which is the following week). Never been to Mosport before, and the prospects for insufferable heat are probably lower, no?

The last 2 years the weather has been fantastic. One bad year and the event gets a reputation. People from the NE are just soft

Actually hard, as in frozen, and we like it that way. Ran LRP two weeks ago in 41 degree weather. It was perfect - barely missed the Coolshirt.

Thinking about making the trip down.

Glen, pull up yer skirt and come to the big ring. Snow should be gone by then.

Matt... I'll pull up my skirt if you leave the chickster at home and bring the smurf to battle in GT4s with Yonks and I!!!!

And, let's just say I have a few surprises for Mr. Yonker this year.

Every year I plan to do VIR, and every year by this time I have some issue (with the car) or conflict...

Doing Mid Ohio instead this year though, and Nadine and I are running the Chasing the Dragon Hillclimb, which happens to be the same week as VIR...

EDIT: Matt...I noticed you have a car named Papa Smurf! So do we! Not sure how your car got it's name, but ours was as one might expect...after a bit of adult beverages at a party.... about 15 years ago when a lady friend of ours sees the car and says 'oh, it looks like a smurf!...you should call it Papa Smurf!" and it stuck.. I've seen your build thread...very nice!! My absolute favorite Porsche 911 based race car is the 993 RSR. Nicely done!

Average temperature at VIR in June is 12 degrees higher than average June temp at Mosport (76 deg vs 64 deg average, 88 vs 73 deg average high, and 64 vs 54 average low). So my statement about less likelihood for insufferable heat stands. But again, I'll likely follow the juice (and yonker).
