I've been hesitant to post because a lot of stuff was up in the air, but it looks like I will be there too, for the DE (Yellow). First outing in my new-to-me #142 Spec Miata. I'm going to do my best to ensure I'm not a rolling chicane...

At the COTA meeting at TWS last week they said they were grouping the DE based upon "how fast the cars were" not driver experience since experienced COTA drivers are so scarce. I took that to mean higher horsepower cars in one group and lower horsepower cars in another.
If you are in a Spec Miata and in Yellow, and I am in a BMW E36 M3 in Green, then who is going out with the GT3s? Another person I know with an '83 911 is also in Green as well as a PCA instructor also with a BMW E36 M3.
I guess we will find out Friday.

Across just my garage-mates, we have GT3's in both yellow and green. Obviously some consideration has been given to something other than horsepower (thank goodness!).

All good questions. I wasn't at TWS this time, so I can't say for sure. I do know that my left arm is probably going to be pretty tired from giving point-bys next Monday.
Looking forward to seeing you there.

I think in the end they considered the car + the current PCA run group of the driver

Which DE group is the "fast" group? I need to know if I can expect to run flat-out. The three that I know are PCA Whites/Reds and we are all in Green.
Only 2 1/2 days left to wait!!!!
