Have fun! Wish I could join you guys this year. First C&S that I have missed in many years...but coaching a whole bunch of folks starting Thursday at COTA, so no way to make it up & back to the Glen in time.

Nothing like falling out of bed and going to work. Now you have that pleasure! That's why I like VIR so much, but I'll see you at COTA and be at the Glen June 8-9 and in September. Best of all worlds!

I've got some R888s that have literally been in the back of my truck for 3-4 years. Might actually have to put them on if the forecast continues the way it looks now. As crappy as they might be, they'll be better than R1.
We'll just have to wait and see what it looks like Wed morning.
I seem to recall being there once for a bad forecast and the weather was actually quite nice. You never know up in the hills and near such a big lake.
We can always go drinking at the Seneca. I'm also curious to try the new BBQ place called Nickel's as well. Where there's BBQ, there's booze.

Cups & Saucers was a successful event (as usual) ! Van Svenson - Great job organizing a smooth 2 days at the track. Bob Scotto and Ron Savenor - it was a BLAST going nose to tail !

It WAS a great event. Thanks to Van and all of the other HCR people. They really run a great relaxed event. The weather turned out to be so much better than what was forecasted. I found out that the 4 year old R888s in the back of my truck are actually decent rain tires.
I didn't set any personal records at this event. Ignoring the huge oil spill that happened, I felt that the grip was generally lower than usual and that braking was challenging. My cornering speeds were all about 2-3 mph off from my usual data at WGI. Either that or I'm just rusty from not driving WGI since last year.
