If you are worried that your HP is not high enough, I can put those fears to rest. I ran an incredibly large wing and splitter on an na 944 for a couple of years in Nasa GTS 1 where it is all about power to weight ratio.

I set several track records and won the national race in 2011.

Now, starting last year, I have a 2004 GT3 Cup and I ran it stock last year. This winter I just added a much larger wing set at roof height with uprights that I have made (I sell them too, shameless plug) and a large splitter.

I have only had the car out once so far at VIR, but I can tell you the thing is a bullet in the corners. I end up faster at the end of the straights, but that is because I am launching myself out of the corners about 10% faster than I was and braking is a no brainer. I can move more than one brake marker up.

Here are a couple of pics of my cup and my old 944. (remember, look at the uprights on the Cup)

Thanks
Ed

But you've still got that thick head of hair so that's good!

I was hoping to get serious responses from serious racers. I don't think you qualify.

I agree with Ed. I run a cup wing with Crawford uprights and a WSC front splitter on my C2 and it's pretty well hooked up. It's all about balance, the wing/splitter combo will only improve your results with a little practice.

He Ed, how do you get a 6-cup into GTS4?....

Just wanted to show the angle I was running the wing at. Is there a better tool to measure ? How's it look ? Car was on as flat a surface as I could find.

I'd take off the splitter. It's like a parachute
