Thanks guys. Had it for 12 years, but the bottom line is its just a car. Is be more upset if it were my dads old 911.
Still you'd kinda like to catch the POS that pull this crap and string em up by the *****.

Wow Jim, that really sucks!
Maybe you could borrow one of Dillon's security service SUV's when you find the guy. I love the sound of a minigun in the morning. Or get me within about 1200 yards. . .
I doubt they are puttering around in N Scottsdale, but I'll keep an eye out.

that sux...
Sadly this is fairly common in SoFla. -cars in containers headed to South America. but its usually high end suv's (land cruisers/rovers)
any video's at the building?
Think they had some kind of master key and drove it off, or a tow truck/flat bed.
with the amount of traffic camera's there is some hope... if you can get access.

Not just a car Jim...it's your inner peace and sense of "security".
Sucks all around - if you need muscle, a loud voice or redneck help, let me know and I'll bring the whole damn farm with me.

Jim knows where to turn if he really needs help...
That said, IMO this was targeted. High end thieves are sent lists from their clients of cars that are wanted, and they look for them in zero-rust areas like Arizona, Texas, and California. This car is likely in a container in the Port of LA by now.

Man, this blows.
I was wondering if there are ever any happy endings to these kinds of posts...?
A friend, Dennis Paul, some of you might recognize the name as the race starter for ALMS, and fellow local racer, had his '74 RSR stolen along with his trailer just a few weeks ago out of down town New Orleans.
News spread so fast on our two local forums (NOLA and Circuit Grand Bayou), via texts, emails, etc., etc. that there could not have been a faster spread blanket of peeled eyes on this one.
Still....Nada.
I run maintenance and repair for my municipality and because of that, installed and run a gps tracking system to manage fleet, boundaries, etc.
These devices can be had in quantities of 1-infinity for $99, a $15 SIM card programming to align the device with your account and $19 per month from then on.
These could be mounted in an inconspicuous spot on a trailer and run off the trailer battery. They report once per hour when idle and once every two minutes when exited.
Next to zero amp draw...., I have some backup patrol units with them that haven't be started in over a year and they are still reporting.
Just a thought.
