Schroth Enduro all the way. Try them once and everything else seems like a struggle.

 

I have found the same thing...the only time I have noticed a difference is when using an older Hans that did not have the little wings on it. The 3" belts would move more and would not stay put as well as the 2" belts.

But with a Hans that has the little wings, no noticible difference but I prefer the 2" as it is easier to get the shoulder belts on just right in a quick driver change situation...

 

Sabelt manufactures them for Sparco.

 

Love good martinis myself, but the darn olives plug the drink tube, so I gave up trying and just put them in a proper glass.

FWIW, I've got the Schroth 6-point HANS.

Not sure about the Sparco's, but we like the Schroth Profi belts in our LeMons car. With the pull-up adjustment on the lap belts, they are by far the best belts I've ever used for quickly tightening up. Greatly helped our pit stops.

 

Dave I have these enduro belts in the spec and they really are that much better. In fact I'm thinking of swapping out the drivers side in the beast to these and putting the standard one in your seat on the spec. Ill be at the next DE so you can look.

 

I think of it as the prize at the bottom of a CrackerJack box and a source of my fruit/veggies for the day. But no dirty martinis for me.

So when not using Hans sometimes, the 2'' shoulder belts feel similar to 3'' belts when not using Hans?

 

Ive got Schroth Profi II in 3". If I recall, youve got a newer model Hans, presumably with the shoulder lips, so you dont need the Hans specific 2" shoulder straps. I'd go with 3" to keep it simple and versatile.

My only regret is not getting the pull up lap straps (I got the porsche specific belts, which arent reversible). Get the pull up capability.

Im very happy with Schroth. Probably a bit more expensive, but not meaningful over 5 years.

 

Don't know this as I don't get in the car without the Hans.

I'd also check to see if they can even be used without it.

 

Schroth Enduro. Really nice. Easy to loosen and tighten while buckled in.

I have not got in a car and used a harness without a Hans since I got a Hans...

 

I think Schroth recommends against using the 2" w/o hans. The crash forces on your upper body would be distributed over 1/3 less belt area.

 

Yes, i would agree. Yes, i have a brand-new HANS Pro Ultra, but am inclined to use the 2" HANS belts anyway.
