Tremblant/Calabogie Hotel rec?

^ lol, that must be the reason they also seem to cross the track at LCMT?!
@ Daredevil: I am headed there in May. Besides, I like the feel of the old village, the only thing I liked about the Resort was better coffee and cuban cigars from the local dep.

Just booked a room at Hotel Mont Tremblant. Thanks for the heads up on the Blues Festival! Right now I am planning on heading up with another rennlister on Sunday. Anyone passing through want to meet up for the drive? We are both driving our cars (hey, we are still new to this and havent bought a trailer yet)

See ya there guys. My buddy and I are headed up on Saturday so we can catch the festival Sat. night without having to get up so early the next morning. I know the hotel has great breakfasts but there is a fantastic omelet place right in the middle of the ski village just off the main walkway going up the hill. There are 5-6 of us from NNJR-PCA coming up.

James right? I think we meet at Lime Rock last year.
I'm heading up but haven't decided if I'll go on Saturday or Sunday. I'm still thinking about doing Calabogie too (85%). I know a few guys that are also going (no trailers). We can meet up and talk at NHMS or Lime Rock at the May/June DEs (you'll be running with them).
After last year with my wife and no room to take stuff, I decided to pick up an open trailer and truck. Finally purchased both last month.
As we get closer I'll know more. I know without a trailer, it helps to have guys with trucks to assist to move spare parts/tires/gear.

Hey Tom, yup its me. (Jim) I cant wait for the season up here to get started! Im signed up for the April 12-13 at NHMS and the May 27-28 at NHMS. I know there is one in June also but I cant remember where. I already have a truck but I havent picked up a trailer yet. As soon as I sell the sled I will most likely pick up a trailer. I like driving to the track but it would be handy to have the space.

Jim,
You really don't need to worry about gas at Tremblant. I've driven up for the past three years in a row. As someone else pointed out 94 octane is available just outside of the track. I've never had any issues running it. There's another gas station closer to the highway which is cheaper but generally isn't worth the drive to me.
