Dog - looks like it fits right into Group10 (production) but would have to be run heavy.
HSR - may be way outclassed.
PCA - well, top of HPrepared. Fun group...send the car off to Rothsport over winter and become a ***** out GT4 car and run with the 6Cups!!!

Doesn't work that way. Usually you pick you org. and the others you run for fun. Do you want gentleman racing ( which leaves you out of the equation ) or lots of heavy competition. NASA at least in FL does not have many GTS cars running but NASA SE might have more cars. PCA racing I dont have any info on and there is also PBOC. Of course you do realize you are not going to be able to utilize your tag trailer it is going to be tow vehicle and trailer for you.

This may not be the right car then unfortunately....
You can put a hitch on anything
All kidding aside, "if" I do this I'll probably do the arrive and drive thing. It's cheaper than going out and buying a truck/trailer that I'll only use 4-5 times a year.

I'd like to be able to go to the same events as Randy. I don't have the budget to run in his class, but the SVRA and HSR events look fun with lots of dates.

All kidding aside you can't really use the word budget and racing in the same sentence. This is an awesome car done right and the engine isn't overstressed like Randy's. Still you do need to decide which organizatio you want to run with and then get a car for the class. Yes vintage is fun but entry fees run much higher than the usual NASA, PCA, SCCA etc. groups.
