Default Pre-Season Picks for 2013 F1 Champion

Who is your pick? Will Fernando finally deliver for The Scuderia or will Seb Vettel 4-Pete and be only 1 of 3 drivers to have ever won 4 WDC in a row? Perhaps Kimi will get the Lotus even further up the grid from his 3rd place finishing position in 2012 or will Hamilton or Rosberg surprise with the Mercedes. Can Button win his 2nd WDC as the lead driver at McLaren Or....... is there a dark horse that can take it all? Will this finally be Sato's year...?

How I miss the Sir A.Wayne F1 pre-season, in-season, mid-season, post-season "predictions" ...

Pete, you should close this poll before the end of Friday free practice, just to be fair.

BTW, Danica? Really?

yea...., I was tryng to sway Ray S to vote. Remember the old days when Ray would want to see how the first 5 races of a season would go before he made a prediction on who would win the title that year? It would drive A Wayne totally NUTS!!! I don't think that seeing Friday practice before a 19 race season is going to sway anyone's opinion.

RE Danica, hey, there has been so much bandwidth written about her, why not include her and Sato together?

The point still stands. You have an idea of driver skill, before they begin the season, but almost no idea on how strong any of the cars are going to be (they all play their cards pretty tight during testing). You really need to see a race or two before you can make any educated predictions.

Trying to predict the eventual winner without even seeing one race is little more than a SWAG.

Finally, poll fail for not making votes public........

Couldn't help but notice you are absent from the 2013 Rennlist F1 Championship Pete........

Where are the Alonso Athletic Supporters?

I would imagine they are giddy, given the fact that Ferrari has given DV a car that is only a few tenths off the favorites.

Clearly that should be good enough for the best to win.

This is DEFINITELY the year for Alonso, Luca and Santander to finally win

Vettel 72.9%*
Webber 0%
Alonso 10%
Massa 0%
Hamilton 5%
Rossberg 5%
Button 5%
McLaren pay driver 0%
Kimi 2.0%
Gross jeans 0.10%

*Reduce to 5% if Adrian Newey screwed up the car. If not he still beats the Ferrari, again.

Can a mod please make the poll public. Thank you.

Ferrari typically don't sugar coat their position and last year they definitely said the car was not good out of the box. Their comments this year have been that they are light years ahead of where they were last year based on pre-season testing and I tend to believe them.

As ltc said, this has GOT to be Alonso's year. So why not, FA for the title.
