Fan walk. Lots of photos taken by those in attendance, most of whom had never seen a race car up close before...or been to COTA. Several wondered where Danica was.
View from the Porsche Corral at the top of Turn 1. V.Raptor just out of picture to the left, drinking heavily. Austin in the background. Photo blurry because of the frigid prairie wind blasting up the hill.
And this. V.Raptor just out of picture to the right, drinking heavily. I think that's Danica on the right.

Guys, help me understand the balance of power regs. I mean, who is restricted and what is their method of restriction? Is it throttle restrictors only, weight? Is it actually published? When is it balanced....after every race? It has to be somewhat difficult to decide upon.

Did you notice the all-surface-LED headlights and taillights of the Magnus car, compared with the heavier lensed traditional headlights and plastic OEM taillight modules of all the other Cups? Allows them to lower a bunch of weight...VERY clever. I know Mglobe took a pic of the headlight.

Yup, same in rear. People have no idea how heavy glass headlight modules are as well as gigantic taillight modules. i'll bet they we able to redirect at least 50 lbs lower in the car by doing this on all 4 corners, maybe more.
