I guess there is religion to every choice. I got my HANS before the sliding tethers were available. I added the sliding tethers and the kit came with the quick release straps. Drove me absolutely nuts. Way too easy for them to get snagged and open. Happened several times. I got rid of them.
Some people love them. Some people don't.
I also leave the HANS attached throughout the weekend. Thats me being lazy too
