My first time on slicks and JR's advice has been very helpful. At Sebring I had the wrong camber settings I believe due to not having GT3 control arms but that is getting fixed as we speak. I corded the right rear inside tire running negative 2.5 but my LSD also was toast after my 2nd run on thursdays test and tune so I think wheel spin may have contributed. Overall Slicks were insane the first 2 sessions on them. They seem to drop about a second a lap after that and level off. The only problem is the 3 cars that finished in front of me had fresh stickers on for the sprints and the enduro.

I run -2.7-3.0 rear camber and they wear just slightly more to the inside. Wheel spin will definitely fry the tires....

LSD note: Are you using a OEM LSD or Guards? If OEM change the 25/65 ramping. I tired one recently and hated it compared to my 50/80 setup from Matt. 40/60 is fine but I spun tires constantly with the 25/65 diff and it was fresh. It worked well on decel though...

If you notice excessive understeer with your rebuilt or new diff that 's normal. As it breaks in it will free up a little. After a day or 2 on the track change your gear oil. It makes a significant difference...

JR:

Bought some new OZ wheels:
8 1/2 x 18
11 x 18

I had them mounted with A6s, 245 upfront and 315 rears....no fitment issues.

Need your expert advice/opinion:

Now that I've had a happy season on the Yoko slicks on my 8s and 10s, what size slicks would work on the new 8 1/2s and 11s knowing that 245 and 315 A6s fit OK? I think I want to stay with the Yokos.

Thanks!
David
