Default Can I burn left over 100 octane in my street car

I have 5 gallons of left over 100 octane sitting in my garage. I no longer have the car that burned it and simce its been sitting there since may I'd like to get rid of it while its good.

I cant imagine why it would be an issue - but thought I would ask

I did this in my 986S, and right after that my secondary O2 sensors went out. I don't know for sure these events were connected, but I would't do it again.

If it is leaded, it will damage cats and O2 sensors, especially cats.

Otherwise, more octane than an engine needs will not do harm.

If it's av gas 100 octane, then it contains lead and will damage cats and sensors. If I recall correctly, av gas is blue.

Cut it back with lower octane.

You can burn it without any issues. Straight or diluted.
