I got the schedule. It shows when each group runs. Have to wait for CR to see the groups. Maybe PCA waits this long to post groups knowing how financially onerous it will be to cancel so late.

Could CR be wrong? I hope so. I like what you show, Bob. If nothing else put the SP3 in Red.

Don't forget a split start for all the sp1-2-3 cars.

It's not a split start...it's your own group!

Gotta agree with Randy on this one, even if I drive a 944.

Paradise:
From someone who has been passed (a lot), it is better if the speed differential is large. The rough situations are the cars one or two classes above.

The fast guys at the front, no matter the class, just need to get it done--sometimes they are too hesitant. However, getting four by in one brake zone won't work...that does bother me.

Roebling here we come. Canada and Argyle cars started up, have exhausts that are actually attached and the cars aren't leaking anything. Now to get them on that darn 2-car trailer with the open middle gives me the creeps. If anyone has an enclosed trailer for sale, let me know.

I'm packing up the trailer tonight so I can make a quick escape after work tomorrow.

RRR isn't a bad place to get passed. A nice long straight and all the turns are sweepers. No one needs to dive bomb to get around you in a slow corner. You Just need to hold a good line and they will walk on by.

Besides there are only 2 GT1 cars and 3 cups, so although you may see them often, they wont be in big packs.

If the races are measured in laps (normally 30 at RRR) and the cups are 12-15 secs a lap faster, we will be 4-5 laps down per race. That is 12-15 total race laps less for me driving out of my normal group. That means I get 2 1/2 races to the other group's 3. The value of the event is diminished for those of us ejected from out rightful place. Perhaps that group gets more laps and things will equal out. We'll see how it goes.

There are 3 cups, 1 GT3, 2 Js and 1 K. Then several GTsomething-Rs. Overall it just means less cars to potentially race with as I look for someone that runs at my speed.

I'm still excited. The RR Race is the most fun event in my area.

Hey, I'm one of the GT-somthing R's. Don't worry, I suck at RRR... :-)

And races are not normally measured in laps, they are measured in time (except maybe the fun race) You will get the same time as everyone else, so the same amount of racing.

Here's the thing: you'll always have other people to race with. The guys at the front race with themselves, the guys in the middle race with themselves, and the guys at the back race with themselves. As long as there are others in your class or similar classes, all that matters is that you have someone to have fun with...right?

Looking forward to a great weekend!!
