Kai,

Very young, an '09!!

Yep. Will be racing with Klaus and Kyosti. New bodywork may result in more of a shakedown weekend. Supposed to go the Road Atlanta the next weekend. Don't know what the new nose will do?

Having Dan join in would be great. We could have our own little paddock. Probably the way most off the others would want us anyway....separate and unequal.

Despite the fact that they're asshats, the Texas contigent is gracious and fun to be with. They're all gentlemen, honest to a fault and will lift to let you by if they feel pressed................................................................. ........................

I'll be there coaching & driving a little. If any of you out of town racers need some help, please let me know. TWS is my home track, in addition to COTA.

I'd love to Dave, but we already tried at ECR, perhaps you remember.... you don't fit in my car, your helmet hits the roof

Ah...Benoit...yes I remember. Yes, there are only a few cars that I cannot fit in. Yours, sadly, was one.

get to work on a SP996, you are 100lbs lighter, that's good for 1/2 second at TWS.

As Michael Globe mentions I would be one of those "northerners" looking for a spot in Houston or thereabouts to leave my whole rig. I'd fly home then come back for NOLA - rinse repeat for COTA.

Thoughts anyone on a storage opportunity not too far from the airport - ICO

Thanks,
Mike Quigley

I don't know the north side of Houston well enough to recommend a storage facility, but with Lake Conroe just north, there should be quite a few boat storage yards that would work. I'll nose around some, and hopefully also some folks from the northern reaches of Houston will read this and help out. An alternative, which wouldn't be as convenient, but might work, would be to store your rig at TWS in-between races. I'll be up there this weekend, and will talk with them to find out if they are willing to do so, and at what price.

A fellow SP996 driver just recommended Countryside Trailers, where he stores his trailer.

http://www.countrysidetrailers.com/storage.html

It's less than 25 minutes from the airport. Looks like a very good option for storing your rig inbetween races.

I'll be there (assuming I can get my car all buttoned up in time). I'll also put some feelers out for storage places for those out of town.

Thanks Mike and Carl. BTW, TWS is shaping up nicely with 48 already signed up as of last night.
