Seems about right. That channel is getting terrible. I've been watching F1 on TSN for years, I prefer the commentators.

 

Pretty damn sad in my opinion. Is this really what sells advertisement? I had some friends over last night to watch Daytona and we thought it was a joke, until we realized that Speed is indeed going to run the show. I hope NBC Sports treats F1 well.

 

I really missed the radio lemans guys. MRN is not the same. Not the same at all. Particularly for a road race filled with international drivers.

I did get a kick out of the one guy who pronounced Audi as awdee and said rough for roof. The bit I heard they compared every aspect of the 24 to a Nascar race.

 

Just part of the direction of the whole country. Sad

One would think that with all the poor programming on Speed these days that another Motorsports Channel would evolve?? Very disappointing to say the least!

You know that RLM was also providing coverage of the 24, right? RadioLeMans.com ran commentary through the night. Don't worry, you can hear them commenting on Sebring as well, I'm sure.

 

Yeah, i saw the ads for the redneck show during Rolex coverage. One of my To Do's this week is cancel Speed.

Speed is going the way of MTV.

The issue is the ratings don't seem to represent the actual racing fan base which is why we had to watch endless amounts of "Neat Organizer" infomertials during the 24.

My two favorites were ALMS which I can't watch excepts for highlights unless I have on of my IT guys hanging out at my house and F-1 live at 4:00 am.

Guess I just need to do more track events to see real reality.
