My Racetech 4009HR seat is now over 6 years old and PCA mandates a seat back brace. Racetech recommends a seat back brace with their seats and makes a kit to install threaded inserts to bolt the seat back brace to the seat.

Has anyone installed a seat back brace on a Racetech 4009 or 9009 this way?
The install instructions say the threaded inserts are 6 in to the L and R of center so the seat back brace is 12 in wide.
Can't find any seat back braces made that are 12 in wide, so guess I have to have fabricated.
I was thinking of using the Autopower seat back brace to attach the fabricated seat back brace to the roll bar, http://www.ioportracing.com/Merchant...tegory_Code=IH

I have a brey krause seat back brace. Seems to have a lot of adjustability. Fit my car easily which is a nice change.
