Who has used slicks and R-specs on the same car?

At least the camber shouldn't be too different between a radial slick and R specs, whereas I think a bias ply require less camber than both?

Absolutely spot on. Camber, very little difference between contemporary R-comps and radial slicks.

Loved those old classic GTVs. Quite a few raced down here back in the day with good results.

Patrick,

The slicks will work fine with the same setup, but they will be even faster with an optimized suspension. You'll need stiffer coils, etc. because you are going to get more Gs, more body roll and more camber change.
