3) Motec E888 Expander
*** Note...I keep seeing "Only 8 thermocouples on E888" as a message... I want it for the inputs and outputs, not for thermocouples. Will this work?
4) RaceGrade KeyPad > See www.racegrade.com/keypad.html
5) RaceGrade KeyPad Adapter
If so, PM me and I'll send you a list of the inputs and outputs to make sure that I need the E888. Then I'm ready to go. TonyG

Nope, not going to work. The E888 is only enabled for the thermocouples (EGT) and while the switchgear looks cool, it only controls through a PDM. The CDL3 is limited to the four analog and two digital inputs (plus three wheel speeds) plus any CAN data fed from the vehicle ECU.
Maybe I'll have to go up to a SDL3.
Great... the pain never stops.

Peter's suggestion of an Evo4 with a MXL Dash is a great one. You'll be able to put any sensors on that you want and get the CAN data. Plus, it's quick and easy to configure using data hubs and channel expanders.

The SDL3 will accept many more analog channel inputs and is more powerful and expandable than the CDL3.
The difficulty is that the CDL3 is brought in at a very low (for MoTeC) price point with only the features that a majority of people use at that price point.
It's the same basic hardware and template as the SDL3 and even the ADL3, but with greatly reduced capabilities.
What it does, it does very well. But you want more!

How about the new MoTeC C125 color dash/logger? No more inputs than the CDL3, but a tidier package.
