What's on your track laptop?
I am just in the process of updating the software on my laptop that lives at the track with my car.
I was wondering what software other's find useful to have handy.
I have:
1. Workshop Manuals
2. PET
3. AiM software (for SoloDL & SmartyCam)
4. TraqStudio (TraqMate in my other car)
5. Durametric
6. Zeitronix software (data logger)
7. PhotoShop Elements (photo editing)
8. Premiere Elements (video editing)
9. Adobe Acrobat reader
Any others I should consider?
Thanks.
Marc

I use Excel with a Fuel Burn calculator spreadsheet I created. I input and save the data per track. Always helpful, especially if I am going to run low fuel for weight saving and to be sure I have enough to finish an enduro.

this makes understanding data a zillion times easier - http://www.wolfram.com/mathematica/
(I don't know how capable the home edition is, so maybe you need take take a student along as Data Analyst).

Three Wheelin'
I would recommend:
1. Select videos relevant to the tracks/car/situations you will be in. Can be yours or someone else's or a mix. I consider this reference material. And I think video is far more leveraged than data acq data files for most folks... even those that use data acq.. Though if I had data acq I would want some simple info overlayed on my reference videos.
2. Current rules document(s) in pdf format.
3. Op manuals (pdf) for things like: video camera(s), key vehicle subsystems (aftermarket ignition, ECU, et cetera).
4. Simple wing diagrams, including functional block formats, again in pdfs. Something that can be quickly referenced.

Good points - I try to watch video with trackmap overlays before going to a new track but having a collection handy might be useful.
Manuals are a good idea too.

Huge amounts of **** it goes without saying.......
Videos for every track that I go to as well as data.
I run OSX & Parallels and have the DA software for every system I have used as well as a couple that I don't so I can read data sent to me.
