If the Start is placed as it was the last time we raced there, Turn 1 will be Big Bend. The START is usually placed between Tombstone and Big Bend. The FINISH LINE (NOT the gas station!) is between Big Bend and Rattlesnake, just before Pit Exit. I think those placements are usually covered in that early morning (Driver's) meeting that usually doesn't happen! B)

Toby is right. Start will be on the back straight and turn 1 will be Big Bend. Turn 2 will be the pile up area! LOL. And the timing/finish line will be the on the main straight between turn 1 and turn 2.

That makes zero sense to me at all. Bryan just give me a bit of a nudge when it's time for me to go.

And hopefully, ALL of us can turn better times than Richard Rawlings of Gas Monkey Garage fame. On last night's episode on Discovery, Richard could ONLY turn a 1:33.x on the 1.7 course in a track-prepped ZR-1 Corvette! Even my E-car can go faster than that!!!

Why are you guys worried about a pile up in turn 1? According to the track map there is only passing in the straights.

Glad I'm not towing all the way out there for that!

Sadly, I can't come down as I will probably leave for Oregon early Monday.

See ya'll in the spring, have fun, go fast. No pesky little red car to bother anybody this time out.

FWIW, if anyone is looking for some scrub 18" Hoosiers (most 245/35 or 245/40), I have a stack of 6 or so at PST. Wally or AJ should be able to hook you up really cheap.
