Default 5/6 point harnesses, which brand?

Whether you use a 5 or 6 point harness, which brand do you like and which vendor do you use?

I'm looking/need to replace my harnesses and want to change to the "hans" style shoulder type (narrower over the shoulders). However, all of the brands I've looked at include the hardware at the end that would snap into a bolt eye. That's fine for the sub belt and lap belt but my shoulder straps wrap around a horizontal bar that is part of the roll cage. Do you know of a brand that comes with just the ends that are "loose".

If you know how to order the belts without the end hardware, please let me know which vendor or direct manufacturer that I can contact.

I like Schroth. I have a Schroth Hybrid II HANS. Look here:

You can get whatever hardware you need for attachment.

I have and like Schroth. I got them from Ron and discoveryparts.com. Very knowledgeable.
My shoulder straps wrap around the roll cage as well. Eye holes for the other mounting points. Don't forget to check dates.

Schroth Profi II HANS driver and Profi II passenger.

Call Ron @ Discovery Parts - he'll set you up (no affil).

Another vote for Schroth. I've used various brands of harnesses, from Simpson to G-Force, and the Schroth just seems to be the best made and easiest to adjust. I didn't appreciate it until I had a set and used them.

Schroth Enduro HANS (much easier to adjust). I've tried pull-up and pull-down lap belts and the enduro belts are so much better I don't know why they still sell the old style.

Another vote for Schroth. Just ordered a set of Profi II 6 Hans in wrap, snap, snap from Ron at Discovery. Sounds like that's what you need as well.

I think Schroth has the nicest stuff, and they have every mounting option you could think of.
You can buy it from a bunch of places which will most likely ship from HMS Motorsport, which seems to be the main distributor in the US.

One note on the eye bolts: for the shoulder harnesses, it's likely that the end piece that snaps into the bolt is not webbed in (i.e., is removable, so that you can just wrap the harness around the cage instead). I thought I wasn't going to like the eye bolt system, but now that I've tried it, I really do.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is an enduro belt?

I am really a big fan of the Schroth Hybrid style of belts. The Hybrid style sub strap setup is quite comfortable.

Schroth Enduro HANS. Once you try the Enduro you will love it - so easy to tighten/loosen.

Default Schroth Belts

The hardware on the Schroth shoulder belts is wrapped in so you can remove the hardware to wrap the shoulders around a harness bar. The Profi II-6 Hans is our best seller.
