Default AiM Data Seminar in NH Nov 3 & 4

Hi Guys,

North Country Region is bring Roger Caddell, from AiM Sports, in again on November 3 and 4. The first session on November 3 will be the introduction to data while the session on the 4th will be one of Roger's all new Advanced sessions. You can search this forum for all of the great reviews of these sessions, but it's guarenteed that you will come away with a better understanding of data systems and what they can do for you. The Advanced session is a great way to see some of the different ways that data can be used to solve driving and car handling problems, along with some insight into what the pro teams are doing.

The session will cost $10 which will be collected at the door. Email tech@ncr-pca.org to reserve a spot and get more info. I hope to see some of you there!

Matt

I'd like to offer three discount coupons (10%, 15% and 20%) good for any AIM product as a door prize. maybe this will encourage more attendees! We can discuss the details as the event gets closer. Wish I could attend.

Thanks Matt for hosting the sessions and thanks Jerry for the coupons, even more added value for the attendees! So looking forward to coming up there for another seminar.

I recently presented the new advanced session for the first time at TC Motorsports in Washington State and the folks loved it! I am looking forward to presenting it again.

I am assuming the class is focusing solely on the AiM data system?

It is focused mostly on the RS2 software, but many of the ideas that Roger presents and his examples apply regardless of system. He had a very interesting story about shock sensors on a spec Miata....

Wholly cow Jerry! Those are amazing door prizes. For anyone on the bubble for getting data, that should put them right over the edge.

All data systems are fairly similar, the main thing is to learn what to look for in all the squiggly lines!

While it's focus may be fully exploiting the vast capabilities of the AiM software, Roger Caddell will show you the fundamental and more advanced ways of interpreting data collected by the hardware. Roger is a great educator and serves as the National Training Chief for AiM Sports, the American importer.

This is an extraordinary opportunity to "learn where to start" or progress from simple analysis and learn how to leverage the raw information into something more graphical and user-friendly.

This is true. From Traqmate to AiM to MoTeC to Bosch WINDARAB and McLaren ATLAS, all the hardware measures the same forces acting on the car, as well as plotting speed and position. The major difference is in the software, and THIS is where Roger's seminars will help folks the most.

Traqmate uses simple pre-made templates whereas AiM is much more configurable (and i2 Pro, WINDARAB and ATLAS even more so). With that power comes some greater knowledge requirement on how to navigate and portray this information in a way you can use it.

The best driver's information all "looks" very similar and the ability to identify positive or negative execution of fundamental skills, as well as positive or negative trends in performance, are key to a driver understanding where to go and what to do with the squiggly lines.

Any chance there might be another session a little closer to the George Washington Bridge?

I really want to learn about the AIM Solo DL and what it can do.

I just might have to drive up to the White Mtns!
