There is plenty where it needs to be....

What are the odds of the facility being done in time?

Nothing exciting...it was a commercial aircraft, I think it was a CRJ700

45 days of rain would be a problem at this point, but that's not going happen.

Damn that back straight is LONG!!! Can't wait!!! And if NJ can pull it off, that track looks pretty interesting as well, and what a backdrop. And maybe Sully can do a practice landing for the hell of it…

If you notice in the second picture, SH 130 is at the top above the track. Kind of cool to be able to take the country's fatstest highway straight to COTA.

It is a short Window to get it ready but it will be race ready by mid Novemeber. The following year it will most likely be even better. It just wont be as green as I had wished it would be.

I'm curious whether club races will use the whole F1 track or will use the cutoff after turn 6 to the last 1/4 of the back straight.

The back straight looks crazy long for normal cars. The cutoff would make the track a lot more curvy and less of a horsepower war on the back straight. Either way it would be very cool to race on this track!

Can't wait to be sitting in turn 12 this November watching some DRS induced passing
