ZSA Motorsport, in stock Cobalt and Pagid Pads
Just a quick update:
ZSA Motorsport is now a Premier distributor for Cobalt brake pads.
We have utilized a combination of Cobalt pads on our World Challenge Camaro, our IMSA stock GT3 Cup car, and a host of other pro and club race cars.
In the Grand Am Continental Challenge series, Cobalt is a highly regarded brake manufacturer as their pads offer tremendous release characteristics with top modulation and threshold control.
We used them in our World Challenge Camaro and I must say that the Camaro, despite being a heavy car, brakes incredibly well, far better than just about any other car we've ever tested. We did like the Pagid pads on the car, but once test session with the Cobalt is all it took to be a believer. They brake hard as nails, they release well, they modulate well, and their wear rate is far superior to anything else we've tested. We run the XR1 on the front and XR3s on the rear, and we've averaged about 20 sessions per pad set before making a pad change. They prices are comparable to Pagid and others.
They are ideal for pro and club racing, track day and high performance street use.
If you are looking to test different things to improve performance, we would strongly suggest testing a set of Cobalt pads to see if you can squeeze more out of your lap times, while using up less pad per track day.
We stock a boat load of these, though they are custom made to order, so if we don't have them, it takes about 10 to 15 days to get them in hand. This also ensures that the pad materials is fresh , and as well, if ever required, custom compounds can easily be made.
And of course, we carry a full assortment of Pagid pads, one of the most beloved pads found in any paddock. We love Pagids as well, for some applications, Pagid can be a superior choice.
