After months of anticipation, the new SP996 is finally about ready to hit the track! Lots of thanks to the 996 guys for their support during the build and putting up with all of my questions. Big props go out to Van here on RL for a truly amazing job on the graphics for the JPS tribute (JPS Blended Scotch Whiskey, btw).
And finally a special thanks to the guys at RAC Performance in Dallas, especially Bob McAfee who has amazing patience....
I expect the first race to be Hallett in October where we have SEVEN SP996's registered![rockon](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/rockon.gif)

Nice build, great looking ride. I would make one suggestion to find another home for the accusump, I don't like the idea of 3 1/2 quarts of scalding pressurized oil in the cockpit, I've seen one fail in the trunk...

That is an awesome looking car can't wait to see it in the flesh at Hallet. Further to prior suggestion re accusump. I would add that anything installed higher than it needs to be helps to unnecessarily raise the Centre of Gravity. In my Specbox I bolted mine to the floor behind where the passenger seat would be to get it as low as possible.

It is a beautiful car.
Since its not plumbed yet you could just get a longer hose and run it to the nose. The more complicated option is under the tunnel (this is a cayman but similar) or if you've removed the exhaust up under the rear fender on the rail. At the very least I'd move it away from you on the other side of the tunnel, behind the seat etc, the canister does get hot. Anyway may be picky but hell it's such a nice setup....
