So much respect for these racers. An event most pros won't touch and a motorsports anachronism, I hope it goes on forever and happily surprised each year it's run.

 

There was a very interesting series on HD Theatre, now Velocity, a couple of years ago and it was specifically about Isle of Man. They interviewed a few of the racers there, the thing I got from those racers is to be successful at the event takes a very special individual to do what it takes. Some of those guys live like rats and scrape together everything they have every year to go.

Velocity is airing this years TT. I belive september 23rd or 27th I forgot which date This is a must see fellas. I raced bikes semi-pro years ago and let me tell ya the TT is NUTS!!!!!!!! I would love to ride the course but I could never race it One mistake and your dead

 

margin of error = 0. Why is it when you increase the level of danger exponentially - it automatically becomes that much more fascinating to watch?

 

One side of me says "idiots". The other one starts Googling for racing bikes...

 

It's so insane it's spectacular.

The worst part is that they can actually PASS!!! Nuts!
