I am in! Planning the trek from PA/NY and super excited to be at Daytona for the first time...

PS: I just realized you are a 5S competitor! Awesome. Beautiful car...

That is always the case with me Lou. Im hoping for a dry track this year to see how fast we can get around there.

Pmcrespo, i moved my car to 6S after the avatar photo was taken. I was very close in weight to 6S in weight so we added a bit more. Now, i stay off my brakes as much as I can.... (especially in Daytona).

Nice.. That probably puts you on a sweet spot in 6S. I am a little on the opposite side. I intended to run SP3 but due to aero work I was not allowed. So I landed in 5S. Unfortunately, I am grossly underpowered when compared to everyone else and carrying 3,087# minimum weight. I do ok in technical tracks (ie. Lime Rock), but I am bracing to get abused heavily at Daytona!

Lou... I hope I can pick your brain on setup and your experience with the 968 at Daytona before I make it down there.... Paaleeeease!!!!!

I loved the rain last year. I had a lot of fun racing under monsoon conditions.
