Yeah, rain is fun! (especially without driver's aides).

However it would be nice to have some dry laps.

See you there.....

It was fun but in an intense kind of way.

I passed someone to the inside on the exit of Nascar 4, touched the lower stripe and got sideways....Total Codebrown. Parked the car after the race and sat for a while to regroup.

Just curious - with the Enduro being a 90 min and/or 180 min event, what will be the 2 point races for
the PCA Championships?

Default Enduro

The 90 min. and 3hr enduros will be run simutanous. Points will be accessed at the end of the 90 min when the field will be given a full course yellow/checker and all racers will exit the track to the hot pits. The 90 min. racers will continue to the garage area while the 3 hr. racers line up on the outside on the hot pits. Once 90 min. racers are clear the pace car will take the 3hr racers around for a restart to complete their remaining 90 min.

I may be interested in "formal" Enduro Pit/Fueling support... I am probably going to need close to 3 pit stops at close to 15 gallons each... Any recommendations on race support groups?

Allen, are there then additional points for the second half?

Since co drivers are mandatory, how would points be assigned?

See ya there!!!

Here's my assumption.....points are for first 90 minutes. If you do whole 90 minutes, you get all the points. If you share the first 90 minutes you split the points... Might need some clarification from Brian or some other stewards on here....

Default Points

Bryan said that only the 90 min enduro would be scored. Not sure how that will be sorted out for two drivers. The 3hr is just for those who are compelled to step outside the norm. There are 16 3hr racers signed up now. Still looking for the registration surge with 68 currently signed up. I understand the Road America CR this past weekend had 170+. That would make for some interesting racing at Daytona.

I had this same question given that for example, even though I show to have a co-driver, he is so because of the 3hour enduro only and will not get in until after the 90 minute mark. In this instance, the scenario should score me the full 90 minute enduro points earned without splitting. Nonetheless, other teams may indeed split the 90 minute driving duties in which case the earned poins would be split. I presume the organizers and/or timing and scoring will have a system to track this unique situation.

Default Registration

Just inside of a month and our registration numbers are moving in the right direction but at a pace to give me a few more grey hairs. Just checked Hallett (the same weekend) and they have 69 compared to our 75. Question is, where are all the east coast racers? Heck, we have those numbers at our Roebling race every year. Remember that first year (2006) when we had 260 racers? That was an event!! I'm not saying we need those kind of numbers (in my dreams) but it would be nice to surpass 120. If you haven't done it...do it...if you have...do it again. See you at Daytona 5-7 Oct. 2012.

The numbers will get there. Can't imagine less than 100 cars for Daytona.

I'm trying to make it but have to find time to get trans pulled and regeared.
