Just spoke with Barna tonight, he yanked the engine out so he's done for the season. I see someone else signed up we now have 13 SP2 cars, should be a fun weekend

No test day before the race, so the first practice should be interesting.

I should put a big orange triangle on the back of my car

This event is also a 944 Cup designated points event. Only two of races will be 944 Cup points races for the North Chapter. The first sprint race on Saturday and the sprint race on Sunday. For both races the Goodyear tire contingency is in effect for SP2 cars which is basically one free tire for the first and fifth place positions in each race.

Not sure what you are looking at but the practice races are the last session on Friday as usual. Looks like they skipped the morning warm up on Saturday in liu of immediate qualifying. One thing I did notice is that the sprint races are very short especially the first one Saturday.

I down loaded a schedule from potomac's web site.May be this has been revised but it listed 1 practise in the morning followed by 2 practice races and 1 practice in the afternoon for friday the 29th.According to this schedule qualifying is not till saturday morning october1st.This can not be the correct schedule.
