Thompson, CT, to reopen Road Course?

It used to be a major transition on to the oval. It was a typical road course of the 60's-70's with limited runoff and no curbing. I saw some bad accidents there.
It is great to see its revival as a modern safe circuit. It was and should be an exciting track to drive. I like the addition of the series of corners before the road course / oval transtions.

Any update on the Thompson track road course? Last year there's some talk about hosting DE there but I didn't see it on the 2013 schedule... so I am guessing it is a no go.. ?

The transitions at New Hampshire motor speedway are brutal.
Hopefully the owners are smarter .NHMS is what I call a Roval.The Thompson track looks like a proper road course.YEE HA!!!

2300 is to rent the little oval. Renting the road course has to be more since it will require more flaggers and they will be trying to recoup the investment.
