Default Bedding in Textar pads

Who has bedded in textar pads with the method described on there web page which is, to lightly drag the brake pedal for 800 yards then drive @ 2300 yards without the use of the brakes. I am concerned with boiling the brake fluid which I just replaced.

On track with pagits I have allways done 4-6 stops from medium speed to 20mph, repeated from 80 mph to 40 mph with cool down in between and then repeated from 125 to 60 with cool down in between.

I am wondering what makes there pads so unique to require a bedding proceedure so different from pagits.

Hmm, i'm curious about this too. I put textar pads on the front of my car and after they are worn in they squeal like crazy! I couldn't believe how loud they are, its kinda embarrassing. They work great on the track tho...

You won't boil your brake fluid by just dragging your brakes for 800 yards. I use the Pagid method you describe for my street cars with Textar pads.
