Default POC at Laguna Seca in August

JR, Martin or other POC folk who may know ...

What must we do if we have a NASA and/or PCA competition license and want to race with your guys at your LS event in August? I looked at the web site and could find much.

I assume we have to pay a license fee (yes?).
Will you accept our NASA or PCA tech and log books?
It appears that POC normally requires a dyno to class a GT car. What are our options if we don't plan on having a dyno run?

I know there are a few or the PRC folk who are interested. It would be nice to get some info now, so we have time to get everything done before the event.

I believe it is a 103 db event. No power sapping 92 db mufflers.

Tom I only wish... unfortunately it has always been a 92 dba weekend for POC at our August date.

Yes your NASA or PCA license will be acceptable and you do have to join POC but I believe you can get a discounted rate for your POC license(I'll check on that).

Yes we require a certified dyno report to run our GT2-GT5 classes. Since you're not running for class points and probably could care less about classification you should just run GT1 which is our unlimited class without a dyno requirements. Same run group as GT2 or GT3 where you'd fall anyways, so unless someone wanted to run for the Yokohama contingency your class placement is really irrelevant. Ask away, I'll be happy to help you and your friends line up your ducks so you'll be ready to register when the registration opens sometime in July.....

As for unlimited sound, POC may, and I repeat may, buy a run group from Competent (Pirelli Group) for their unlimited event in mid October. If so it will be expensive....

Tom the BOD agreed last night to waive membership fees for PRC members wanting to run with POC at Laguna in August. We'll have registration up on our website within the next week. First come, first served, 35 per run group max....
