Default X-post FS: 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC Lemons Racer

Up for sale is the pinnacle of excellence; my Lincoln Mark VIII LSC racer.

Selling because my lemons team has disbanded and I really need the space

Clean title, receipts for everything. Passes Lemons tech with no BS laps.

Specs:

ENGINE: 4.6-liter 32 valve DOHC V-8 290hp @5750 / 290 ft-lbs. @4500 rpm

TRANSMISSION: Four-speed auto with working OD

WEIGHT: ~3150 lbs (easily capable of 2800lbs with some chopping)

TIRES: 225/60R16

ROLL CAGE: 1.75x120 DOM

the GOOD:

Runs and drives perfectly, currently running open headers.
Ultra platinum custom club sport ram air intake
80,6XX Miles
26000 GVW Trans Cooler
Strutmasters coil overs
New rotors
New brake lines
New upper control arms
New lower control arms
New tie rods
New platinum spark plugs
New lug nuts
New trans fluid
New diff fluid
New ATE super blue brake fluid
New sway bar drop links
New air filter
New head gaskets
A/C compressor pump delete
Sunroof delete
4 Spare wheels/tires

The NOT SO GOOD:

Car was hit in the front and partially crushed the front bumper support as you can see in the pictures...
Hence why it was cheap enough to be a lemons car and pass tech with no BS laps.
That being said, the frame is completely straight and alignment is good.

At our last race at NJMP, we had to do a headgasket repair.
This went perfectly aside from the bolts from the primary cats to the exhaust being completely corroded.
long story short we had to cut the the cat off the one header to remove the cylinder head.
The cats/exhaust parts are still good, so if you are remotely competent with a welder, you will have no problems re-attaching them.

does not include seat or fire extinguisher

$1000

Any questions feel free to ask

Not counting "safety" stuff, which includes rollcage, seat, harness, tires, brakes, exhaust, and the like.

Think of it as $500 for the car and $2000 for new fluids, tires, wheels, suspension, wiring, exhaust, and roll cage fabrication...

It easily cost 2x that much to build
