Nitto NT01. I've driven them over 300 miles each way to the track, beat the snot out of them on track and then drove them home over 300 miles. Did this a few times on each set until they cord.

I drive on either Nitto NT01's, or Kumho v710 slicks (please no sensational horror stories) from Cincinnati to Putnam Park at Greencastle, IN or Mid Ohio at Lexington, OH. Both are 320 miles round trip. Both are Department of Transportation certified. Both are safe when driven using commonsense.

nt01's. I seem to get about 40 sessions or so out of them. I drive to and from the track, which is normally 130-300+ miles away. And I occasionally drive the car to the shop. The last set of nt01's I got:
* 8 days
* 2101 total miles
* 779.5 track miles
* 36 sessions
I actually probably had at least 2 more days on those tires, but swapped them out due to rain.

Up north, MPSC gets one strike against it. I found that on cold mornings on the way to the track, it was pretty sketchy since those tires hate hate hate temps in the 40s / low-50s. And there's sadly too many spring/fall mornings like that up here.
