I was seventh!
At Watkins Glen, I had my own "I was seventh" moment. I qualified 3rd in SP2, but was late to the grid and had to start at the back.
It was actually some of the most fun I've had in a sprint race and will remain memorable!
Thanks to all the other racers in the group for clean, intense action!

Curse that double yellow restart.....I was so focused on getting Jim in the boxster to close up the gap I didn't see them pull in the yellow....
Nice to meet you and we're already looking forward to next year. It's good when the wife is looking for cabins to rent for the week next year before we even get on 86 headed home!

That does look like great fun! Nice clean moves & passes throughout - nicely done! I know some of those guys from year past, like Chris Brady, and they can drive - quite an accomplishment to run by those guys like that.
Starting from the back like that really gives you a chance to work on your racecraft, and traffic management. We inverted a 21 car field in a Rocky Mountain Region race last weekend, and it was similar fun. I'll get video up soon.

Nice driving Van...... Reminds me of the famous Leh Keen video. You and Vito went at it pretty good for a few laps. Looked like he surprised you entering the Bus Stop on the 1 lap.

Also nice job in Sprint race #2 Van....I watched from a couple spots as you worked on a couple guys in from of you and eventually won the pass. I was rooting for you when you almost made the pass in T10 to get the red sp2 car...I had the birds eye view of that one from the newer T10 bleachers. Great job.
