Opening Lap of Interseries Sprint Race at Road America
View from Bob Schneider's #40 Martini Cayman as he starts the Saturday qualifying race at Road America. Chris Smith Racing drivers Schneider and Smithee both came home with multiple podiums, and a class win for Schneider.

Looks like the May 18-20 Road America Vintage weekend. The CIS cars are in with the stock cars and tube frame Trans Am cars.

They're incredible. I remember the Merkurs of Halsmer and Pruett, as well as Tommy Kendall's record setting run, but until I began working with a few drivers in these cars (ex-Roush, ex-Riley), I had NO IDEA that they were as fast as they are. Braking, cornering are amazing and the power, well, the power is breathtaking. Pushing a brick through the air at speeds comparable to a DP car is amazing.
My clients are running times equal to current Grand Am Rolex GT times many places. You should do that, some day...

Three Wheelin'
Peter- just curious, how costly are those cars (Trans Am) to maintain? I used to love watching them when they were a support race for the Long Beach Champ Car races. Fast, great sounds, great racing, and some really good drivers.
