So...what am I doing wrong to get rotor cracks so fast?

I used to get about 8 days on the stock 993 rotors (despite functional brake ducting). Moved to Gyrodisc rotors with the TT big red brakes last year. I went an entire season (30+ days including 6 race weekends) and this is what my rotors looked like at the end of the season). I'd have been on my fourth set of stock rotors if I didn't make the change... just for the convenience factor of not having to change rotors ever 3 events was worth the change.
We had previously created functional ducting through the unibody/frame rail and custom backing plates to direct air on to the backside of the rotors with only modest improvement in rotor longevity.
