Streak does come up fast, and sometimes arrives with great Drama. Looking forward to racing with you at the Glen.

This will be my first time at "The Glen". Can "The Glen" be considered a "Momentum" track or "Horsepower" track. Just curious if I have a chance at being competitive against any of the tailwaggers in "D" and "E" during the Pro-Am Enduro?

Not an expert on the Glen, but I would guess it is somewhat of a "horsepower" track.......

All race cars are momentum cars. All race tracks are momentum tracks.

Isn't that what you taught me, Tim? (...or maybe it was Pete Argetsinger who taught me that)

But you will love The Glen. It has pretty blue bushes all around it!

Definitely momentum. There are no 2nd gear turns which means you are never a sitting duck for a higher hp car like turn 7 in Atlanta. The longest "straight", from turn 1 to the bus stop, also involves some turns and some ***** so a high hp car can't just blast through on power alone.

Just keep your foot down from turn one to right before the bus stop.

Tim, I'm looking to race you!

I'm very lucky to be racing at The Glen this year. I couldn't make it, but I was offered FREE transportation to the track and a nearly FREE car. That saves me one day at the office, in my busiest week of the year. I was also able to split the cost of the hotel room and I'll be going there in my wife's appliance, which runs at about 36mpg. From Montreal, it should cost me 40$ to get to the track!

I'm just glad to be there and will make the most out of it, mainly fun, bcause I don't think I'll running nowhere near the front...

c.

No way. Not the top 3 anyway.

I guess you guys didn't read the "tailwaggers" part.

Hooked on Phonics worked for me ;-)

OK, guess I misunderstood. What is a "tailwagger"?
