I remember that weekend to this day, and I was 9 years old when I watched that race.

Think it is sad that we overlook Ratzenberger's death as well as a number of unfortunate incidents that happened that weekend. Barrichello's massive crash in practice, the start of the race was very scary when Pedro Lamy crashed in the back of JJ Lehto. Then the wheel that came off of Michele Alboreto's Minardi bounced down pit road. Was a very sad weekend indeed.
